pegelak®rapid pegelak®rapid is a synthetic, absorbable surgical suture with short-term wound support. pegelak®rapid sutures are flexible strands composed of a copolymer prepared and synthesized from 90 percent glycolide and 10 percent L-lactide (PGLA). Ideal suture for gynecology (episiotomy repairment), aesthetic and plastic surgery, all general surgery applications. Quick absorption, excellent knot security, easy handling (braided suture), easy knotting and tie down.
